The Peace Islands Institute PA(PIIPA) presents awards to distinguished members of our community in recognition of their outstanding service, hard work, and sacrifice. The Annual Public Heroes Appreciation Awards recognize and thank first responders, government employees working in homeland security and public safety, and individuals who work tirelessly for a peaceful community.
The awards serve as an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of these outstanding individuals who have made significant contributions to promoting peace, safety, and security in our communities. By recognizing their efforts, we aim to inspire others to follow in their footsteps and make a positive impact in their communities. We are proud to host this annual program as it aligns with our mission to promote a civil society based on shared human values of diversity, equity, and inclusion, and to appreciate the selfless contributions of individuals who work for the betterment of our communities.
