Gift Policy Standards

All donations to Peace Islands Institute (PII) support the mission and vision of providing a forum of global peace, dialogue, mutual respect and collaboration for every culture, race, religion, tradition and nation.

PII administers a number of fundraising programs to make every donated dollar improve the quality of our services to the communities. We will carefully consider the needs of the organization and will use your gift where we determine it is most needed, so that all donations may directly and indirectly support our mission and vision. When processing each contribution, we will follow our policies and general accounting standards.

PII will not accept any restrictions on use of donations; however, if you specifically request at the time of donation that funds be distributed to a specific event or program we will honor such request so long as distribution does not conflict with other PII policies.

If PII cannot honor a donor’s designation request, the contribution will be returned to the donor. Third parties to a donation may not change the original designation of a contribution. Also, PII holds the right to refuse any gift that does not sufficiently benefit the organization, is in conflict with PII’s mission and vision, puts the reputation of PII at risk or is prohibited by law.

Donation Refund Policy

If you have made an error in making your donation or change your mind about contributing to PII, we will honor your request for a refund made within 15 business days of your donation. To request a refund, call 215-798-0165 or E-mail: contact@peaceislandspa.org. Refunds are returned using the original method of payment, except cash donations will be returned via check. If you made your donation by credit card, your refund will be credited to that same credit card.

Privacy Policy

PII respects and protects your privacy. PII will never sell or rent your personal information to other individuals or companies. When you make a donation, your name may be included in PII newsletters and other publications. If you do not wish to share your name, or you choose to make your donation anonymously, PII will not publish your name.

When you create an account with PII you will receive an acknowledgment of your donation for your records, and occasional email and postal delivery updates. If you do not wish to hear from us, simply unsubscribe from any mailing or contact us directly.
